What do you call a fire-eating juggler with an acrobat sidekick? How does one classify a hula-hooping aerialist? Or how about a busker dressed as a marble statue? Some of the most unforgettable experiences come of out its most unconventional performers. Many of these acts defy classification, combining equal parts dance, street theatre, improvisation and old-fashioned circus dare-devilry, but they are part of what makes Asheville such an unusual place. Don't be afraid to step outside the box. You might just be wowed by what you find there.
