White Horse Black Mountain is a beautiful large venue hosting live music, dance, comedy, theatre, celebrations, corporate meetings, weddings, & benefits. It is 4400 square feet, can house 300 people, has a beautiful bar, state of the art lighting, sound, and stage, a grand piano, and movable cabaret tables and chairs. Bob Hinkle, former manager of the J. Geils Band, Harry Chapin, Etta James, Kenny Rogers, and others is a founder and co-owner of White Horse Black Mountain. In its first year, White Horse has hosted a wide variety of music: Cyrille Neville, BeauSoleil, Bob Margolin, Larry Keel, Mac Arnold, Malcom Holcombe, Chis Brodsky, Kellin Watson, Laura Blackley, Bob Hinkle, Kimberly Hughes, Acoustic Syndicate, Jamie Dose, Velvet Truckstop, Artemis Pyle, Cowboy Jack Clement & Marley's Ghost, Zach Blew, Jimmy Landry, Paco Shippe, Levi Douglas, Sons of Ralph, Akira Satake, Free Planet Radio, Mariam Matossian, Peggy Ratusz, Kate Campbell, The Cheeksters, and more. White Horse co-celebrates its First Anniversary on Nov. 7, 2009 in a gala with radio station WNCW celebrating it's 20th Anniversary!
